About
I’m Adam Jenkins, a Brighton-based designer working with start-ups and small businesses on branding and illustration.
I’m drawn to people who are building something of their own, the grafters and risk takers backing themselves and their ideas. Often that means shaping a brand from the very beginning, helping turn a story, a feeling, or a loose idea into something clear, considered, and well made.
I’ve been designing since 2004, with a process that’s always started the same way, by making things by hand and paying attention to the details. My work is rooted in storytelling and craft. I care about how a brand is built, not just how it looks. Much of my process starts by hand, sketching, drawing, refining, before being shaped into a finished brand that feels honest and built to last.
Stylistically, my work leans clean and minimal, with a strong influence from traditional processes like linocut and tattoo design. I’m drawn to hand-drawn, imperfect lines and the character they bring. Those details matter. They give a brand its personality and help it feel human.
Rodney, my whippet, is with me every day. He’s usually propped up against me, sleeping, or trying to get a bite of my pastry. Either way, he’s very much part of the process.
When I design a brand, I’m focused on solving a problem. The aim is always clarity, helping you communicate who you are, what you do, and why it matters, through thoughtful, considered design.
If you value story, craft, and work that’s made with care, I’d love to hear from you.
